Community Outreach

As a Christian Author, Mentor, and Advocate I am dedicated to making a difference. I work with incarcerated individuals and those struggling with addiction, with the goal of reducing recidivism, preventing incarceration, healing families, and above all, saving lives.

I maintain regular contact with those I mentor, both behind bars and in the community. I provide essential care packages containing hygiene items and Christian reading materials, including Bibles for those who lack access. I also arrange medical care, regular mentorship, and connect people to other vital resources to address their needs. Importantly, I also keep in close touch with families, offering crucial support during their struggles.

My work is driven by my unwavering commitment to transform lives and restore hope. Through my efforts, I am making a profound impact, working tirelessly to save lives and strengthen communities. Having been incarcerated in the past and maintaining my sobriety since December 28, 2013, I am truly passionate about the work I engage in. I've witnessed firsthand the transformative power of recovery, having overcome my own struggles with addiction. Tragically, I also lost my younger brother to a fentanyl overdose in May 2021, a loss that has only strengthened my resolve to help others facing similar challenges.

I'm able to connect with and inspire the people I serve in ways that many cannot, because I've walked in their shoes. It's my heartfelt mission to see them rise above their struggles and reclaim their best lives. This cause is deeply personal, and I'm committed to making a difference. As an Advocate, I am dedicated to serving those in need. Unfortunately, I currently have a waiting list of inmates requesting Christian books and hygiene packages, but I lack the necessary resources. To ensure these materials reach the inmates, I must order through authorized vendors approved by the prison system, such as Amazon for books, and the prison package program for hygiene.

Additionally, I provide Bibles and Christian literature to individuals in need within the community. I also transport those I mentor to various appointments, including treatment and job interviews. I assist with urgent necessities as I am able, offering support such as appropriate attire for job interviews, hygiene products, and other resources essential for their success. Through His selfless actions, Jesus provided a powerful example for us to emulate. As one man, He harnessed the gifts bestowed by God to venture forth and expand the Kingdom, faithfully carrying out the work entrusted to Him. This inspiring example kindles my own aspirations, and I pray that when my time on Earth is done, my Heavenly Father will look upon me and declare, "Well done, my good and faithful servant!"
